In the past months, my new job has kept me very busy but I always find some time to dedicate to my blogs. To do my online chores, I´ve been using my ex´s notebook but this week I started fixing mine because he asked me his back.
Maybe you remember what happened, if you don´t I´ll recap it for you: Early this year, I caught a virus doing EC drops and my Toshiba notebook, bought in December 2007, wasn´t working properly anymore. I had a paid antivirus which didn´t protect my notebook from this nasty bug and I wasn´t the only one, there were other bloggers that caught the same bug.
I´m not a tech expert but this week I decided to try fixing the notebook myself. Instead of going to a repair shop, I decided to reboot the system and reinstall Windows. I think it worked. Now I´m installing other software and doing updates. Got my fingers crossed and hope this "home remedy" works :)

It happened to my desktop too. Instead of fixing it hubby bought me a new hard drive and other stuff and start from scratch.

I´m glad I didn´t have to buy a new hard drive but I also had to start from scratch and lost all files, not funny.
