I was reading the news online when I found that Portugal already has 13 confirmed cases of H1N1.
In the Hospital where I work there are some posters with information about the virus.
The flu is a very contagious virus that is easily spread from person to person through tiny droplets that are released into the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Sometimes, people can become infected by touching their nose or mouth after touching something infected by the flu virus.
I´ve read that PrimaMed developed a treatment for Swine Flu, called Tamiflu, and that some governments are stockpiling the treatments.
Many are affraid that this virus can become a pandemic but Portuguese government stated there are no reasons for alarm. Are they sure? If so, why are they developing a national plan?
I´m worried. Although I don´t work directly with sick people, I´m at the hospital almost every day.

I thought I was the only one, I've been waiting for more than a month too.
