This year, I decided to shop Christmas gifts for my family on a budget. This won´t be an easy task because most of my 17 nephews are still children.
Yes, I have 17 nephews, from my husband´s side, with ages from 5 to 25. Every year Christmas shopping becomes a quest.
When I was young, I would be happy to receive a simple puzzle, book or lego set as Christmas gift but, nowadays, times have changed. Most kids love new technologies so when this season arrives they already made up their minds about the perfect gift.
Today´s kids aren´t satisfied when they receive cheap toys, chocolates or pasty.
They want a Nintendo wii console with fun games, such as wii fit, or Mario Kart with Wii Wheel. This games are fun for all the family, and my daughter likes them too.
If I could, I would offer them what they want but once my budget is low I need to brainstorm other options. For the older, I´ve been thinking about offering agendas but for the young ones I still haven´t found the perfect gift.
